SANTA MARIA, CA -- June 9 -- Aliso Niguel’s Mark Jensma placed tied for 21st at the CIF/CGA State High School Championship Tuesday at Santa Maria Country Club in Santa Maria. Mark finished the 18-hole tournament with a 3-over 75, tying him with five other golfers.

MURRIETTA, CA -- June 3 -- Junior Mark Jensma shot a 7-under par 65 today to finish in a three way tie for 1st place at the SoCal Championships. After three play-off holes, Mark finished second and advanced to the state championship. Mark had seven birdies in his bogey-free round, hitting 16 greens in regulation and finishing with 27 putts.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA -- June 1 -- Junior Mark Jensma was selected to the Orange County Register All-County Boy's Golf Second Team.

ALISO VIEJO, CA -- May 6 -- The Wolverines the season on a high. Juniors Mark Jensma and Sammy Cole shot 3 under each. Senior Nick Buscemi and Sophomore Robert Wick shot 4 over and Junior Kenny Yu, Senior William Yang and Sophomore Patrick Collins shot 5 over.  We finished with a 182 and lost to the best team in the county, Corona del Mar, by 2 strokes.  Their last guy Nick Mathews had a hole in one on 7 to make the difference.

FALLBROOK, CA -- May 4 -- Juniors Mark Jensma and Sammy Cole competed in the individual league finals today at the Pala Mesa Golf Resort. Mark shot a two over par 74 and Sammy carded a 77.

BONSALL, CA -- May 3 -- Aliso Niguel shot a combined 418 on the par 72 San Luis Rey Downs Country Club. Junior Mark Jensma led the Wolverines with a 38 on the front nine and Sophomore Robert Wick led the team with a 38 on the back nine.

BONSALL, CA -- May 3 -- In a make-up match, Aliso Niguel lost to Tesoro 195-205 during the league finals on the front nine of the San Luis Rey Downs Country Club. Junior Mark Jensma led the Wolverines with a 38.

SAN CLEMENTE, CA -- April 29 -- Aliso Niguel lost to San Clemente 215-228 at the Bella Collina Towne & Golf Club. Sophomore Skyler McGill  and Junior Sammy Cole each carded 42s for Aliso's low rounds.

ALISO VIEJO, CA -- April 28 -- Aliso Niguel lost to San Clemente 191-202 at the Aliso Niguel Country Club. Juniors Mark Jensma and Sammy Cole each carded 36s for Aliso's low rounds.

COTO DE CAZA, CA -- April 20 -- The Wolverines defeated Tesoro 214-126 at the Coto de Caza Country Club. Junior Mark Jensma shot one under par for Aliso's low round.

LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA -- April 15 -- Aliso Niguel shot a combined 420 in an 18 hole tri-match against La Costa Canyon (417) and Dana Hills (414) at the El Niguel Country Club. Junior Mark Jensma shot an even par 72 for Aliso's low round.

ALISO VIEJO, CA -- April 13 -- The Wolverines lost to Dan Hills in another close match today 192-195. Sophomore Skyler McGill led the Aliso Niguel with a 1 over par 36.

MISSION VIEJO, CA -- April 1-- Aliso Niguel lost a very close match to Mission Viejo today 213-215. Junior Sammy Cole led the Wolverines with 3 over par 39.
