Aliso Niguel completed their final league
match of the 2008 season today at the San Luis Rey Downs Golf Resort and
Country Club. Earning medalist honors for the sixth time this season,
Sophomore Lindsay Chou shot a 42 to lead the Wolverines to a
240-252 victory over Dana Hills This win avenged last year's loss to DH
on a coin flip and now the Wolverines will move on to CIF competition on
November 10.
SAN CLEMENTE, CA -- October 23 --
Aliso Niguel lost their second match with San Clemente 211-230. With one
match remaining (Dana Hills) the Wolverines have locked up third place
in the South Coast League and are looking forward to the league finals.
ALISO VIEJO, CA -- October 21 --
Shorthanded with only five players a gritty Wolverine team put forth a
valiant effort this afternoon. All five girls shot under 44 for a
combined score of 212. However, San Clemente shot a whopping 35 strokes
below their season average winning 183-212.
RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA, CA -- October 15

Playing their third match in three days, the Wolverines completed
their sweep of Tesoro winning 238-241. Sophomore Lindsay Chou led
the way earning her fifth medalist honor of the season with a 40.
ALISO VIEJO, CA -- October 14 -- Led
by Sophomore Sara Stewart's 40, the Wolverines defeated Tesoro
221-225 and are now ranked Number 7 in Orange County!
LAGUNA WOODS, CA -- October 13 --
Aliso Niguel lost their rematch to undefeated and third ranked Mission
Viejo 209-247. However, in the tri-match the Wolverines bested Laguna
Hills 247-258. Sophomore Lindsay Chou medaled with a 46.
LAGUNA NIGUEL, CA -- October 8 -- The
Wolverines defeated Dana Hills 237-240. Sophomore Lindsay Chou
shot 42 to earn medalist.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA -- September 30
-- Aliso Niguel suffered their first loss in league play coming up
short against Mission Viejo 217-245.
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA -- September 25 --
Sophomore Lindsay Chou earned medalist with a 42 leading the
Wolverines to a 236-259 victory over Capo Valley. Aliso Niguel is 2-0 in
league play and remains ranked as one of the top 10 teams in Orange
County.
SANTA ANA, CA -- September 24 --
Aliso Niguel lost a non-league match to 3rd ranked Newport Harbor
231-248
 ALISO VIEJO, CA -- September 23 --
In the first league match of the season, Seniors Yalina Gonzalez
and Ashley Kim led the Wolverines to a 216-250 win over Capo
Valley. Yalina and Ashley each carded a 40 to earn co-medalist honor.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA -- September 17 --
Shooting 2 over par, Sophomore Lindsay Chou was today's medalist
with a 34 as Aliso Niguel bested Laguna Beach 208-235.The Wolverines
ended their preseason at .500 after playing and are looking forward to
league play.
ALISO VIEJO, CA -- September 16 --
The Wolverines split a tri-match today, defeating Laguna Hills 229-247
but lost to Woodbridge.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA -- September 11 --
Sophomore Justine Kim shot a personal best 43 but Aliso lost to
Corona del Mar 225-242.
IRVINE, CA -- September
10 -- Aliso Niguel lost to Woodbridge 218-248 evening their season
record to 2 and 2.
 ALISO VIEJO, CA -- September 9 --
Senior Yalina Gonzalez carded a 38 to earn medalist medaled as
the Wolverines defeated Corona del Mar 221-222 in a tri-match with
Newport Harbor. Third ranked Newport Harbor won the other side of the
card 195-221.
 ALISO VIEJO, CA -- September 4 -- The
Wolverines opened the
2008 season with a strong showing defeating Laguna Beach 209 to 237 in non-league
play. Junior Katie Chou took the
first medalist honor of the season with a 38.

schedules for the 2008 girl's season. Joining the four
retuning Varsity teammates; Senior Yalina Gonzalez, Junior
Katie Chou Sophomores Lindsay Chou and Sara Stewart
are Senior Ashley Kim, Senior Mandy Pham, Sophomore
Justine Kim and Sophomore Angela Shen. Coach Westling and the team are looking forward to a
great season.
